Brittany Fortinberry, a 31-year-old former math teacher in Morgan County, Indiana, has been charged with multiple counts of sexually abusing minors, some as young as 13. Court documents reveal a disturbing pattern of manipulation and coercion, as Fortinberry allegedly compelled her young victims to don horror movie-style masks, reminiscent of the "Scream" franchise, while being subjected to sexual acts in her home.

According to reports obtained from local television station WTHR, Fortinberry is accused of luring at least ten minors into her web of exploitation, allegedly spending as much as $600 on the boys and using cash incentives ranging from $100 to $800 to solicit explicit photographs of their genitals. Furthermore, investigators allege that Fortinberry provided drugs to the teens, creating an environment ripe for assault.

In one particularly alarming allegation, she reportedly drugged one victim multiple times before subjecting him to sexual violence. The revelations of this case underscore a chilling breach of trust and safety in educational settings, raising grave concerns about the well-being of vulnerable youth in the community.

A former educator stands accused of making disturbing threats to her victims, allegedly warning that she would take her own life should they disclose the abuse. While many parents remained unaware of the alleged actions until an investigation by the Department of Child Services was launched, one parent has accused Fortinberry’s husband of complicity in the situation. Court documents indicate that he threatened to “slaughter” one teenager in front of Fortinberry if the youth reported the abuse.

The documents reveal that Fortinberry utilized Snapchat and the encrypted messaging app Session to send nude and explicit images to her victims. One victim described waiting for her children to fall asleep before initiating sexual contact with the boys, while another recounted an assault that occurred after he was asked to babysit. A separate teen alleged that when the boys resisted her advances, Fortinberry would force herself upon them, telling them to “just let it happen.”

This is not the first time Fortinberry has faced serious allegations; in a prior case, she was accused of abusing several students but attempted to attribute her behavior to a recent 68-kilogram weight loss. On Tuesday, prosecutors escalated the case, filing additional charges that include molestation of a minor, dissemination of harmful material, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and sexual misconduct.

These additional charges follow those filed in February, which consisted of three counts of sexual misconduct and one count each of dissemination. Prosecutors are also seeking to raise Fortinberry's bond from $20,000 to $150,000, according to The NY Post.
