Los Angeles (Court Magazine) - At approximately 1:10 a.m. on the 2600 block of South Manhattan Place, a man who police say was in his 30s and a woman were engaged in a verbal dispute when a 20-year-old male victim approached to intervene on behalf of the woman.
The man who was involved in the dispute with the woman pulled out a gun and shot the 20-year-old victim, according to LAPD.
The victim died from his injuries and the shooter was taken into police custody.
The LAPD is asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact their tip line at 1-877-527-3247 or submit an anonymous online report.
