NYC toddler falls to his death from 29th floor balcony

The young boy fell from a building in the Taino Towers residential complex. ( J.C. Rice

According to NYDP, at approximately 11:10 a.m, a toddler fell from a high-rise at the Taino Towers residential complex on Third Avenue between East 122nd and 123rd Streets.


According to witnesses, the mother was on the street at the time and the father attempted to climb on the balcony to rescue the boy.


Neighbors report hearing a couple arguing shortly before the incident.


The toddle was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:31 a.m.


An ongoing investigation by the NYPD is underway, however, the incident has been classified as an accident.
